About MarketHours.io

Free, real-time trading hours, market status and holiday calendars for stock exchanges and futures markets worldwide.

What we cover

MarketHours.io tracks 192 stock exchanges and futures markets across six regions — Americas, Europe, Asia, Middle East, Africa and Oceania. Every market page shows the official trading session in exchange-local time, pre-market and after-hours sessions where they exist, lunch breaks, live open/closed status with a countdown, and holiday calendars.

Where the data comes from

Trading hours and holiday schedules are collected from official exchange websites and holiday circulars, then cross-verified across sources. Where an exchange has not yet announced a future-year calendar, we mark schedules as projected instead of guessing. Status changes are computed locally in your browser from the published schedule, so the countdown always matches the published hours.

How it works

Every page is server-rendered and cached at the edge, so times load fast anywhere in the world. Beyond per-exchange pages you will find local-time conversions (for example NYSE hours in Singapore time), two-exchange overlap sessions, regional directories, and a set of free tools: a currency converter, a timezone converter, a position-size calculator and a news feed.

Free and open

All pages and the MarketHours data API are free to use without signup. The site is supported by advertising, which is why you may see sponsored placements alongside market data.
